The academy is the first art academy in the Nordic countries to offer education in media art. This international MFA programme focuses on practice-led research with a cross disciplinary approach. The artists are encouraged to explore critical and innovative practice engaging medians across sound, film, performance, photography, multi-dimensional installation, computer-based work with a focus on the relation of visual culture to technology and current tendencies of digital culture and art practice.
